Indiana Oil and Natural Gas Leases
Energy Conversion owns the Mineral Rights (primarily oil and natural gas) on approximately 10,000 acres in Pike and Gibson Counties in Southwest Indiana.
An engineering report was prepared dated July, 30, 2004 outlining these properties. Portions of this mineral ownership have been leased to several operators and are currently producing oil.
-The Rumble Field consists of 1,895 acres located in Pike County just south of Petersburg, Indiana located in Sections 7,8,9,16,17 and 18 Township 1 South, Range 8 West.
-The Claybank Field consists of 4,245 acres located west of Spurgeon Indiana in Sections 2,3,4,9,10,11,14 and 15, Township 3 South, Range 8 West, Pike and Gibson Counties.
-The Coe South/Spurgeon Consolidated Field is 3,875 acres located east of Spurgeon in Sections 36 of Township 2 South, Range 8 West, and Sections 6,7,8,16,17 and 18 Township 3 South, Range 7 West, Pike County Indiana.
Energy Conversion receives varying mineral royalties on those leased properties.
The report also outlines the 6,000 acres of Coal Seam Gas in Knox County, Indiana known as the Brucefield South Field. Two test wells were drilled by Energy Conversion.
